I purchased my first spa (a 6 person Coleman Spa ) back in 2006. They have the best customer support when we were installing it and never had any problems with it. We’ve moved and so it was time to buy a new one. We looked at other brands and decided to stick with what we know so we bought another Coleman. It was another solid purchase.
I have had Coleman products for years and was always happy with my items. I recently decided to invest in a spa and was happy to see Coleman made spas. I have had mine for 3 months now and we have enjoyed every minute of it.
I’ve been in this CO 630L so far in sub freezing temperatures and it holds the heat really well. Turning on the bubbles is what kills the heat off. It can drop from 104 to 100 within an hour on a COLD night. I imagine in the summer this will be better, but for a 110volt spa it’s very good regardless.
The LED can change colors to your liking, and has different modes also, such as fade between colors. As for comfort, again no complaints, it’s a dream to sit in.
As for run time when not in use, it hardly runs, even in freezing temps. Keep in mind you *must* use the cover with this to trap the heat. The cover is high quality and looks very nice. It’s light enough for me to lift on and off but maybe too much weight if your smaller in stature. There are spa cover holders out there, we bought one only to realize it must sit under the spa to work properly. So sometime in the summer I’ll put that on.
I bought a CO 630L spa. I haven’t removed the panel yet to see the inside. Sadly, it requires a screw driver to remove. This is probably for security so kids don’t mess around with it. This uses about 13amps so you will need a dedicated circuit, or just be careful of how much you plug into the same outlet.
Will update later if any problems arise. I was able to move and position it myself but help would’ve been nice.
It truly is plug’n’play though, just add water and plug it in.
We absolutely love our new Coleman 5-Person Spa in the Sahara finish. It is a very beautiful addition to our outdoor living space, and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The multi-color light system is an awesome feature, as is the double waterfall.
The CO R730L is fantastic. I love the one piece design. It is well insulated sturdy and fairly easy to maneuver around when empty. It comes with a nice cover that is sloped so the rain will run off and is seals well. the stainless jets put out good pressure even at 110V although it can not heat and run the jets on high at the same time. this hasn’t been an issue for us so far. It took 24 hours to heat the tub to 103 the first time.
Be sure to fill the tub by putting your hose down the hole where the filter it screwed on… it helps to avoid air in the lines. We had a problem with the pump wire loose on the circuit panel and it wouldn’t run on high at first so check that your wire connections are tight if you have any problems.
Overall this is a great tub with nice deep comfortable seats!
